Puerto Montt: The start of something new

Ships set sail from the port every day, and, from high land, visitors enjoy the view of Reloncaví Hill.

Puerto Montt, the capital city of Los Lagos Region is a frequent starting point for travelers venturing into southern Chile. South of this city, the coastal mountain range sinks into the ocean and creates thousands of small islands and inlets named the Austral Channels.

In Chile, the “once” is a tradition that has to be respected and in the Lastarria neighbourhood you will find multiple places that will transform your afternoon. A good idea to enjoy the afternoons and the “onces” in Santiago is to try some of the new cafes that have appeared in the city. Chile promotes Adventure Tourism potential

Chile is all set to promote its Adventure Tourism potential to about 700 delegates from all across the globe. The destination has been honing its adventure sector to connect it more deeply with $263 billion adventure travel sector market.

Recently, Chile has won the bid to host the Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) in 2015 scheduled to take place from October 5 to 8 in Puerto Varas, in the Lake Region of Chile.
